MusicMINISTRY DESCRIPTION and CONTACTS
Altar Rosary Society
This women's group is dedicated to the devotion of our Blessed Mother Mary in prayer and service to the Church. Our primary responsibilities include weekly care and cleaning of the altar and linen and cleaning pews quarterly. We also prepare the Church for Christmas, Easter and special feast days. Altar Rosary prays the Divine Mercy and Rosary on the first Saturday of each month. We also enjoy excursions and have visited Rosa Mystica House of prayer several times, the Shriners at Northeast Martyrs in Auriesville and the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Shrine. Altar Rosary would love to welcome new members! You may contact Nina Nelson at [email protected] or call 315-368-3911.
Altar Server
The altar server can be a young person or adult. We asked that children have received their First Communion before serving as an altar server. This role supports the Priest at the altar by carrying the cross, helping receive the gifts, ringing the bells and retrieving items for the Priest during the Mass. They will also put out the candles after Mass. They are asked to be at church just 15 minutes prior to Mass. If you are interested in being a server, please contact Karen Acee at 315-853-6138 or [email protected].
Annunciation Family Volunteers

"We are an organization that comes together as individuals to serve our Parish and give back to the Community."
We raise fund's by hosting parish and community dinners, breakfasts, bake sales and Basket BINGO. We also assist with other parish events such as the Lenten Ecumenical Service, Altar Rosary Receptions and All Soul's Day Receptions. We meet the first Wednesday of the month, Sept thru May in the Parish Hall at 6:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to join us! No experience is necessary. Many hands might light work! Please contact the rectory to be put in touch with our Annunciation Family Volunteers by calling 315-853-6138 or emailing [email protected].

The Building & Grounds Committee assists the Pastor and parish staff and oversees all volunteer activities associated with the operation, maintenance, safety and security of parish buildings, grounds, furnishings and equipment. This committee is generally responsible for identifying, prioritizing, scheduling and supervising execution of preventive maintenance, renovation and landscaping tasks by parish volunteers. It will work closely with the parish staff, pastoral and finance councils, and other parish organizations to assist developing short- and long-range plans for maintaining parish grounds and facilities.
